Spirit of reinvention keeps textile factory alive for a century, by Amy Wilson.

We are delighted to share that The Times have written an article about us, in celebration of our centenary. The piece discusses how we have evolved and grown to survive war, flood and globalisation. As well as, how we continue to adapt in order to succeed over the next century. It also includes interviews with Standfast employees, some who have worked here for 50 years, who have trained here and been supported by Standfast and Barracks.

Amy Wilson kindly wrote “Standfast’s 100-year heritage is undoubtedly a source of pride, but the factory has survived the decline of the British textile industry not by clinging on to tradition but by innovating and accepting the need to change.”
