Standfast & Barracks is proud to create cloths from scratch, preparing them to achieve the exact aesthetic required by our customers.
At the preparation stage, the cloth comes to the factory as raw greige goods from our weavers, where it undergoes a specialist cleaning process called ‘singeing’ and ‘desizing.’
Depending on the desired outcome, we prepare the cloth in a variety of ways, including scouring for a natural shade of fibre, and bleaching to make cloth white or extra white.
Overall, the preparation process allows us to control perfect quality.
