On Wednesday 19th June, we marked our centenary with a fantastic day of celebrations across all Sanderson Design Group sites.
At Standfast and Barracks we welcomed a wonderful group of guests including the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire, Amanda Parker, the Deputy Mayor of Lancaster, Hamish Mills, and valued customers, as well as members of the press.
Highlights of the day included an insightful factory tour, the unveiling of our newly restored Grade II listed clock tower and commemorative plaque, as well as being presented with the belated 2020 Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade by the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to making this milestone celebration truly unforgettable.
We received some wonderful press coverage from the event. Listen to Debbie McKeegan, CEO of Textintel, interview our CEO Lisa Montague 'Celebrating Textile Excellence -100 Years in Print with Standfast & Barracks' .
