As the year comes to an end, we thought it would be a good time to reflect on the highlights of 2023, the successes and the new connections we have made.
The end of the year marks the first full year of collaboration with our sister company, Anstey Wallpaper Company. This partnership combined the Archive and Exclusive Portfolio of both companies, providing our customers with the opportunity to select from available designs to print on both fabric and wallpaper. This exciting collaboration continues to provide our customers with a seamless and cohesive Design, Colouration and Sales journey across both fabric and wallpaper.
We released four new pattern books this year: Larisa, a selection of eye-catching designs inspired by current market trends. Eden, a range of gorgeous florals for every taste. Lulani, a series of striking geometrics and playful forms in vibrant colourways. Finally, Damira offers you a beautifully authentic array of ethnic designs.
Launched at Proposte in April, we had a fantastic few days in Como showcasing our new designs to all our amazing customers. We also debuted our new outdoor and linen base cloths, and new additions to our extensive archive. We can't wait to return in May 2024, with a fabulous array of new designs and bases, and to celebrate our centenary year with our customers from all over the globe.
Following Proposte we covered not one, but two continents in July. Visiting America, France and Holland, we had an incredible couple of weeks, meeting with customers, showcasing our portfolio full of gorgeous available designs and exquisite archive documents. We were able to help customers develop ideas for their design collections and demonstrate the range of cloth and wallcovering substrates we offer, in person. Standfast and Barrack’s is a truly global business, so it’s incredibly important for us to travel to meet with our wonderful customers in person.
September was a busy month for us, starting with our return to Decosit in Brussels. We loved being able to showcase new, digitally printed designs, coloured into five gorgeous colour groups for upholstery, contract and wholesale markets.
The excitement continued as we proudly welcomed HRH The Princess of Wales. Our staff were elated to be a part of this memorable day; a remarkable high point in our 100-year history. It was an honour to have the opportunity to showcase our excellence to Her Royal Highness. We are incredibly proud of our heritage and expertise in fabric printing, with a commitment to continue to innovate, educate and develop sustainable solutions within our processes. These are just a few of the key highlights of our year, throw in many factory tours, numerous additions to our Archive, and countless metres of fabric printed, packaged and delivered. We’ve had a truly packed year, and we can’t wait for 2024 to be even busier; with our centenary celebrations in the planning, it’s sure to be a year to remember and we can’t wait for you to be a part of it all.
