As well as creating designs from scratch, we also take inspiration from our extensive archive documents, reworking classic heritage designs into fresh, modern interpretations suited for today's market.

The design department is proud to work closely with universities; nurturing talent through placement opportunities, mentoring the next generation of up and coming British designers.

We like to work closely and collaboratively with our customers, offering a personal, one-to-one colouration service to ensure the desired result is achieved seamlessly and cohesively every time.

Many of our clients are welcome on site to work alongside Standfast & Barrack's highly experienced colourists, but for those located long distance, we provide daily communications and updates to ensure we're working in sync.

Once a customer is happy with the colouration process and the right tones have been achieved, the job is passed onto the bulk department which set the designs up for production.

Using state-of-the-art technology combined with the traditional skills of our tea of separation artists, we can translate any imagery into workable, highly desirable designs. 

Each member of the separation team is an expert in design, adept at recreating artwork to our customers' exacting briefs.

We take great care and pride in ensuring that each design is interpreted and separated to very best effect, resulting in a luxurious, unique print. Every design separation achieves just the right balance of finesse and character, while also delivering the critical commercial flair needed t make them a success.

Customers who choose to work with Standfast & Barracks have access to our archive through licensing or our full design and print service. Our team can develop your ideas to create fresh and modern interpretations, all designed and printed on-site in our Lancaster factory.
