Due to popular demand we will be opening our doors to the public once again for Heritage Open Days 2019.
On Saturday 14th September, an exciting opportunity to tour the site of premium fabric printers, Standfast & Barracks which is nearly 150 years old.
Tours will be running throughout the day, with the first tour at 10:30am and the last at 3pm.
Standfast & Barracks prints high-end fabrics for the world’s premium home furnishing brands, during the tour you will see the process from cloth preparation, to printing, and the finished product. The building was designed by Lancastrian, Graham Paley, and has a rich history including being a wagon works, and an internment camp.
