Vacancy – Process Operatives

An opportunity has arisen for 5 Process Operatives to join our Production team.

The roles are for an initial 6 month period.

 

We are looking for the following:

1 Process Operative to join our Make Up Department.

Duties will include operation of the parcel machine, palletizing orders ready for dispatch, recording of information, inspection of fabric, assisting with housekeeping/painting and any other reasonable duties.

1 Process Operative to join our Stenter Crews.

Duties will include operation of the Monfort Stenter, retrieving A-frames, recording of information, general housekeeping duties and any other reasonable duties.

2 Process Operatives to join our Conventional Prints Departments.

Duties will include obtaining A-frames and colour for printing, assisting the Printers to set up designs on the print machines, checking print runs against customer standards, clean up following a print run (ie blades/rods/screens), general housekeeping duties and any other reasonable duties.

 

All roles require adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments, working in a safe manner and complying with all health & safety procedures.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and machine operation would be an advantage. Good eye sight and colour vision are essential.

The successful applicants will be team players who are self-motivated and take pride in their work. Flexibility, good attention to detail, good timekeeping and willingness to assist colleagues is essential. A good general education, including Maths and English, is required.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday/Friday.
